Hey everyone, as most of you know I do have a litter of english bulldog puppies right now. 3 males and 1 female. Well they turned 6 weeks old this weekend! YAY! and Boy are they getting big and even more cute if that is possible! Here is a video I took this weekend of them!

Hey everyone, as many of you know, Maggie’s puppies are here! I did however lose my bet, cause I said that she was going to have them on the 26th and that she was going to have 7 or 9. My boyfriend said she was going to have them on the 22nd and that she was going to have 4 or 6. He won both! I was too happy they were coming to pout tho.
So all day friday I though she was getting close to going into labor and had caught her sitting in her pool (nesting area) a few times, but I didnt see any of the big signs like I did last time. So that eveing I went to dinner with a friend since I already had planned it beforehand. I also shared a whole bottle of wine with her, lol. Then when I got home I saw maggie panting in her pool and I asked Aron how long she’d been in there and he was like for about 2 1/2 hours. So then I knew she was going to go into labor that night, so I called our vet and left a message since it was about 9pm at night and he was on call. I didnt think he would call back so early, i thought it would be a few hours so I just started to vaccumme and stuff since I already had everything I needed for Maggie and the Puppies ready. I was suprisingly calm tho – but the wine prob helped
Well our vet ended up calling back within 15 min so he told us to head on down since we’re about 40 min away. Maggie was exciting, she knew what was going on from last time and she was ready to go see the dr. lol. She did a really good job – she is suprising calm thru all of it too. The only part I dont like about the whole C-Section thing is when they put her to sleep, it’s a little scary. It was just the Dr, Aron and I doing the C-Section cause it was after hours. If it would have been a week night it would have just been me helping out the DR!!!! The whole experience is pretty cool tho, its amazing being in charge of getting these tiny little leves going. The Dr handed the first puppy (Eeny) out to me and I did the shaking process. In total she had 4 puppies. 3 male and 1 female. They were all very strong and healthy and look good. They are bigger and stronger than the last litter and are getting cuter by the day! They are a week and 3 days old Today and they weigh over a 1lb and 1/2.
I like to wait to name the puppies til I know how many and things like that. I also like to have a theme. I know – it’s kinda silly but I think it makes them special. The last litter I named all M’s and P’s for the parents Maggie & Picasso. This time the puppies have cute/silly names, but of course the new owners can rename them!
Eeny, Meeny, Miney and Moe are there names! Eeny is the smallest and was the first out, Meeny is white with spots like a cow and very cute!, Miney is the female and is very big and strong, and Moe has an all white head except his ears which are the color of his body!
