RIP Michael Jackson

Sure I know that he has been the best punchline of a joke for many of the last years and that things have surfaced about him that are very strange and we will never understand a lot of it. But with that being said – he has been one of the greatest attributes to the music and dance world since he started as just a little boy. And really no one can deny that. As in anything there is always a number of people that have a great influence and impact on something. And in the music world there are a handful and michael is one of them. You have Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Ray, Steven Tyler, Selena, Bono, etc. And thats just to name a few. Death is a part of live, but you still cant help fill sad and feel a sense of loss when someone great dies, when someone who has had an impact on you or someone you admired.
While I’m sure the jokes will continue, I hope that out of respect people can take at least a few days of rest from them and honor the memory and be respectful of his surviving family and children.
If you have a few minutes you should go back and watch a few of his videos. And while your at it, go back and watch some of your favorite singers and bands from back in the day and just take a moment to remember how you felt listening to them. I grew up listening to all of the older stuff, I love it and listen to it a lot. But I think I’ll take some time and appriciate all those great artists. Have a good saturday everyone and enjoy it.
