Worst day Ever
By TeenDeja in teendeja, TeenDeja's Bulldogs, Uncategorized on March 23 2009So I had like the worst day ever. I lost 4 of my dogs this morning, found 2 of them within an hour but didnt find the other 2 for a long time.
I fed them before 9. Let the 2 boys and 2 puppies outback and took Maggie out front since she’s in heat. Then I came in and showered and got ready. When I went to let them in at about 10, they were gone. I went out looking for them and found the trash people and asked them if they’d seen any dogs and they said yes that a lady down the street took them so they showed me where she lived. She ended up putting Brick and Matilda in her neighbors yard so she could make flyer, but when I went to get them they had already gotten out. So we went looking again. My BF found them and brought them home. So we had to find Dylan and Penelope. We searched for about an hour and then made flyers and put them up and searched for a few more hours. I went and filed reports at the human society and called the places to call.
Finally about 3 we started to get some calls but they were all calls saying they had seen Brick and Matilda and no one had really seen the other 2. So then my BF and his son went out looking more and were going door to door. Finally an old lady said she saw them go into a backyard this morning but only saw Brick come out. They just happened to go back there to see if they were still there which we didnt think they would be. Well this backyard had a pool. And the pool was half drained and had a tarp over it that had water on it so it was sunk down in the pool. Dylan and Penelope were hanging onto the side and couldnt get out. Bulldogs cant swim so this is very bad. They almost died cause they were hanging on for all that time. I am so glad we found them and that they are all ok. Its a miracle. Scared the shit out of me. And now my eyes still hurt from crying so much. I’m just glad they are alright!
